PJM Morin est décédé subitement dans la nuit le 10/11 septembre 2005.

PJM Morin died suddenly during the night of September 10/11, 2005.

Michel (PJM) Morin est arrivé au CMR au mois de septembre 1952 ayant déjà servi avec le CARC, transportant des fournitures aux troupes à la guerre de Corrée. Il portait la médaille de service Corréen. Quoique son prénom était Michel on l'appelait toujours PJM. Il n'a pas complété les études au CMR, mais il fut l'un des fondateurs du Club des Anciens du C.M.R. et est toujours resté très actif au sein du Club et de sa Fondation. Sa carrière par la suite du CMR passe par plusieurs activités, dont la principale fut la direction de la Gutta Percha de Farnham. PJM demeurait à Iberville (Saint-Jean) avec son épouse Charlotte Landry-Morin. Il était père de Louise , Loraine, Philip, grand-père de six petits-fils, une petite fille et un arrière-petit-fils. Selon ses désirs, PJM a été incinéré et les obsèques ont été célébrées à Saint-Jean le jeudi 15 septembre. Sa famille désire transmettre à tous et chacun la bienvenue pour ceux et celles qui le connaissaient, joyeux, sincère et en toute honnêteté un homme distingué, remarquable et accompli.

The following remarks are taken from emails from Hélène Ladouceur 12/09/2005 and from Serge Morin 25/09/2005, plus some memories of my own. Michel (PJM) Morin arrived at CMR in Septembeer 1952 having already served with the RCAF transporting supplies to the troops in the Korean war. He wore the Korean service medal. Although his name was Michel he was always called PJM. He did not complete his studies at CMR, but he was one of the founders of the CMR Ex-cadet club and he remained active in the Club and the CMR Foundation. His career following CMR included many activities of which the principal one was management of Gutta Percha in Farnham. PJM lived in Iberville (Saint-Jean) with his wife Charlotte Landry-Morin. He was father to Louise, Loraine, Philip, grand-father to six grand sons, one grand daughter and one great-grand son. In accordance with his wishes, PJM was cremated and a chapel service was held in Saint-Jean Thursday, September 15, 2005, at which his family welcomed all who knew and loved a distinguished, jolly, sincere and most of all an accomplished and remarkable man.
